Spanish Civil War
The Spanish Civil War was a bloody prelude to the global conflict around the corner. Same major players, the fascists power of German and Italy using Spain as testing ground for the all-out war that was coming. Stalin’s Soviet Union backed the Republic, before he, too, signed a non-aggression pact with Germany.
Franco and the fascists won, changing the course of history. Miranda’s life was irrevocably changed, too.
