    hanks for posting, Becks! It was a magical, crazy circus, like the world’s biggest carnival with free books instead of stuffed animals. And I didn’t have to puncture any balloons to get them!

    But believe me, the only person who might blog about seeing me would be my mother, and she didn’t go. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Nothing like a gigantic James Patterson banner draped on the exterior of the convention center to put writing celebrity in perspective! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    You’ll be there next year, and it’s always bigger in NYC … we’re kind of addicted to the freebies, so it’s really motivating to get another book scheduled in time for BEA!

    Wow! I got out of breath just reading your post. And insanely envious. It sounds like a wonderful time. And somewhere, someone is blogging: “And I saw Kelli Stanley! Can you believe it? She was right there signing books with her fedora on. I just about died.”

    Can’t wait to hear about Day 2.

    I gotta figure out how to go next year…
